Holmes on Homes

Nothing new here (other than a posting, that is). B and I have spent the last several months or so enjoying the show "Holmes on Homes." The premise consists of a Canadian journeyman going out to homes wherein some no-talent ass-clown has really buggered the construction up on some poor, unsuspecting homeowners castle. It's really enjoyable and Mike Holmes is the man, mind you. But it struck me recently...and yes, I'm slow...he's only helping out the moderately retarded landed gentry. Where is the help for those folks that don't own blackacre in fee simple, Mike? Why can't you expand your show, now in its 7th season, to include botched jobs in non-owner situations? You've helped good people with means build the Taj Mahal; why not help the less fortunate? Renovating a rental building would be a start, mind you...I realize that's going to benefit the owner disproportionately at the outset but perhaps you can find some sponsors to kick down a little bit extra to "make it right" on more than just a single family level. Just a thought.
