Enjoy these photos of the project that consumed my Xmas break. Keep in mind that I've never drywalled nor framed anything in my life. I would have been done a little sooner but I ran a drywall screw into the main conduit leading to our breaker box. Luckily, I survived (didn't even get shocked!) but it cost nearly $400 extra for the electrician to come out and fix it. The little white cover near the ceiling in the one photo is the cover for the splice he made. My $400 box, as I like to call it. Everyone should have one...at least that's what I'm telling people that notice it.
School starts back up on Monday. So, tomorrow is my only real bit of break. Not sure what I'll do. What I will NOT be doing is anything in anyway "handy" or workmanlike. Maybe I'll cook instead. Or drink. Oooh, maybe both! Novel.
